Rare Large Modular Wall Unit with 300 cm Sideboard by AMMA Torino, Italy, 1960s
Exceptional large-scale modular wall unit by AMMA Torino, produced in Italy during the 1960s.
This impressive Italian bookcase combines beautifully figured wood veneer with contrasting white vertical supports, creating an elegant architectural composition.
A particularly rare feature of this example is its exceptionally long 300 cm sideboard, offering generous storage space while maintaining a refined and balanced appearance.
The lower cabinet features multiple storage compartments with wooden doors and a series of four drawers with brass-coloured handles. Above, a smaller suspended cabinet with sliding doors provides additional storage.
The open shelving creates a beautiful asymmetrical arrangement, with long horizontal shelves extending across the white vertical supports. The combination of open and closed storage makes this an exceptionally versatile piece, suitable for displaying books, art and decorative objects.
