Welcome to Paulette in ’t Stad!

Since opening its doors in Antwerp in 2017, Paulette in ’t Stad has been a haven for vintage and refurbished design pieces, captivating carpets and unique artisanal decor. Each item in the collection is carefully sourced, selected or crafted through the passionate, well-trained and unconventional eye of founder Paulette Van Hacht.

Paulette’s love for art and interior design was shaped from an early age by her art-loving family. In 2015, following an inspiring journey that deepened her fascination with vivid colours and diverse cultures, she launched her very first pop-up store in Lier: a venture that quickly became a great success.

Together with her partner Joost, Paulette took the next step and opened a permanent store in Antwerp, later expanding with a seasonal location in Knokke. Building on their shared expertise and dedication, Paulette introduced her own line of interior objects in 2021: May I Come In. The collection features her self-designed ceramics, lampshades, curtains and fabric-clad side tables.

Today, Paulette in ’t Stad welcomes you in its showroom at Antwerpsestraat 134, Boom, housed in a building designed by renowned Belgian architect Léon Stynen. The showroom is a place where vintage design, craftsmanship and architecture come together naturally.
