Beautiful pair of vintage Art Deco-style lounge chairs dating from the 1950s, fully restored and newly upholstered in luxurious Icelandic sheepskin.
These charming armchairs feature generously rounded seats and high, slightly reclining backrests, complemented by elegant curved wooden armrests in a dark finish. The combination of sculptural proportions, warm wood and exceptionally soft sheepskin gives the chairs a distinctive character.
Both chairs have undergone a complete professional restoration. The internal upholstery has been carefully rebuilt using traditional techniques and materials, respecting the original craftsmanship and construction methods. This labour-intensive process was carried out by skilled upholsterers, preserving the authentic character of the chairs while ensuring excellent seating comfort.
The new upholstery consists of genuine Icelandic sheepskin in a beautiful warm brown colour. Its long, naturally curly wool creates a rich texture and adds softness to the chairs' rounded silhouettes.
The wooden armrests retain their vintage character, with subtle signs of age and use.
