Campo & Graffi Sideboard, Italy, 1960s
Elegant Italian sideboard designed by Campo & Graffi and produced in Italy during the 1960s. This refined piece perfectly reflects the architects’ minimalist approach, combining clean geometric lines with carefully balanced proportions and high-quality materials.
Crafted in richly figured wood veneer with warm reddish-brown tones, the cabinet features two sliding doors that reveal practical storage compartments, including an integrated black lacquered pull-out shelf and adjustable shelving. The slender black metal legs create a light, architectural appearance, giving the sideboard a distinctly modern character despite its age.
The contrast between the warm wood surfaces and the black detailing is typical of sophisticated Italian design from the period. Thanks to its versatile proportions, the piece works equally well as a sideboard, media cabinet, or storage unit in both contemporary and mid-century interiors.
The sideboard remains in very good vintage condition with minor signs of age and use consistent with time. There is a small chip to the veneer on the top surface, visible in the photographs. Overall, the cabinet presents beautifully and has retained its elegant appearance.
